My inspiration for this dress is the story behind Monica Lewinsky's blue dress. I wanted my own version, with the evidence of the scandal on full display! =D
This dress was constructed using a sewing machine and hand-stitching to combine recycled sequin gowns and custom dyed performance mesh. Features include a sweetheart neckline, invisible zipper, circle sleeves, and a patchwork circle skirt with flounces and a split to highlight the legs..
This was one of the first costumes I designed to highlight my natural features and not be worn with padding or other body modifiers. It's all about legs and smile!
Paired with 2-4 tutus to add more volume.
